We started a textile sourcing service in 1998 after having
gained textile-manufacturing experience of several years.
The business was established by Mr. Ahmed J. Siddiqi who
received his early schooling in Pakistan, then proceeded
to USA for Graduate and Post Graduate education. His structured
management training and professional career also started
in USA where he worked as a Corporate Banker for 8 years.
In 1991 he moved back to Pakistan and joined a textile mill
to head its financial operations, but within a year moved
on to general management and headed the entire operations
of the mill.
With a keen interest in learning the manufacturing process
and after having gained valuable experience, he was hired
to head the operations of a totally integrated knitwear
mill, the largest in Pakistan, partially owned by World
Bank organizations.
Between the two mills he manufactured goods for the most
discriminating and quality conscious buyers –
Nike, Gap, Levi’s, Timberland, Sidensticker, Dr. Rehfeld
GmbH and many more.
When Tex Bridge was established, the same quality control
and monitoring procedures were adopted by his organization
as those required by the buyers of high profile brands during
his years in manufacturing.
At
Tex Bridge we have work experience and an understanding
of the business requirements of Europe and USA, and at the
same time have the experience and knowledge of the working
environment in Pakistan – we know how to get things
done locally.
We
have texile manufacturing experience as well as buying experience
and can bridge the gap between manufacturers and buyers,
understanding the problems and requirements of both.
To
facilitate interaction with buyers we have also established
liaison offices in Hamburg, Germany and Greensboro, NC &
USA.
